CONGRATULATIONS to the back-to-back SketchProv Champions Swords!

We’ve had an AMAZING time with our run at Sketchprov 2010 - so many amazing groups, amazing people, and such a great vibe all around. It was thrilling to make it all the way to the finals!!

Tiniest Kids in Europe, New Exc!tement, Foolhardy Manor, Shawn Wickens, and Swords! were the best frenemies we could have had in this competition. You are all beautiful. 

Pure LOVE is radiating from The Peoples Improv Theater and it’s because of the beautiful community living there.

It’s nights like these where I know that any of us can do ANYTHING if we have our friends by our side!!

P.S. - Hugged Bradford Jordan and Lucas Kavner way too many times tonight. Long embraces that we will never speak of again. 

Hey Hey!

Just got back from directing a music video for the Slurpee Battle of the Bands competition in Dallas. Slurpee flew out four directors, four crews, and four bands and paired them together to make a music video in 3 days! I got the chance to be paired with the best crew ever and the awesome Levi Ware and his band!

I met my crew and Levi for the first time on Friday night around 7pm and we had to have our video completely shot and edited by Monday at midnight. Not only did I just meet them for the first time, but I heard his song for the first time then as well. Pretty. Quick. Turnaround.

In other news, my sketch comedy group Inside Joke Films will be competing in the PIT’s annual Sketchprov Tournament for a shot at $2500 and international fame! Come and see us this Monday at 7pm at The People’s Improv Theatre on 29th btw 6th and 7th.
